I am Iranian and I am living in Iran right now. For sure you see in the news what is going on here currently. When I was born, we were at war with Iraq. After that still, we were in trouble most of the time. And now the biggest trouble after that war is happening here.
I don't want to explain why Iran is always in trouble as it is not my expertise. What I want to share with you is that am I safe here now?
From childhood, I always thought I should leave Iran and my family to reach safety and freedom. I did it and I immigrated to Canada and I experienced the biggest trouble there. I experienced much more danger while I was full of bad emotions.
I went to the safest country but it was more dangerous than Iran for me! It is funny but it is true.
Today I was thinking, so where is safety, where is my settle? I was looking at the tree in my yard, and I was thinking of the bird on the tree …
Are they feel safe? For sure yes. They are living their life as if nothing is wrong outside. Birds are still singing, the tree is still dancing in the wind and all nature is still in peace and happiness.
And I found safety is in me, in my mind, in my body. As long as I feel safe inside and don't let the outside take it away from me, I am safe. I am like the trees, the birds and the flowers in my garden. I am safe and happy here as long as I feel safe and happy inside.
I found as long as we leave home and country with fear and bad emotions, wherever we are, we are in trouble. And as long as we have good emotions and inner peace, we are in safety, doesn't matter where we are.
Wish you all inner safety, inner happiness and inner peace wherever you are with whatever trouble you are experiencing from outside.
