Valuable insights about abundance!
In Iran, making money was easier for me than in Canada. People thought it would be the other way around due to Canada’s better economy, but that wasn’t my experience. After thinking about it, I found the answer in a helpful podcast.
I knew giving was receiving, and I’m pretty good at giving. However, this podcast points out that giving doesn’t guarantee receiving. It mentioned “just because we are giving does not mean that we are opening ourselves to receive. Through giving, we are letting go of our constriction around abundance. We are letting go of the death grip on money.” It helps us see how tense we are about money when we give. “All of that fear that contracted energy created no space for the universe to provide abundance. Because the universe is waiting to give you whatever you are a match for.”
In my home country, I lived with my family, and they covered my living expenses. This let me focus on my growth and career. With a stable home and food provided, saying no to the wrong projects and embracing the right opportunities was easier. There was less fear about money, even on days with just a few dollars in my bank account, as I knew I had a supportive foundation.
When I returned to Canada and had to cover rent and food, spending money got scary. The fear of not having a stable base added stress around money. Unlike my family and friends back home, people here worry more about job loss, financial insecurity, and difficulty paying. These changes created tension about money inside me, making it tough to receive money easily.
I’m happy I learned this today and want to share it with you, hoping it helps. From now on, I’ll give as much as I can and work on releasing any tension around money. Let’s both let go of money worries and move forward with a positive mindset for abundance and a fulfilling life.
